Join us in celebrating the American Mustang

The purpose of the Northern California Mustang Showcase is to promote the American Mustang and everything they are capable of in the domesticated world. It is also to raise awareness of the many challenges that they face in the modern world, and their desperate need for as many human advocates as possible.

Spectator Tickets are Free, but spaces are limited so please reserve your spot(s) below. Note that you must complete the checkout process for your reservation to be completed. Please provide a separate name and email for each spectator (unless they are under 18).

An American Icon

In addition to facing the everyday dangers that all horses face in the domestic world, Wild Horses continue to struggle to exist on our public lands. The BLM manages free-roaming wild horses and burros on public lands as part of its multiple-use mission, with the goal of supporting healthy wild horses and burros on healthy public rangelands. The BLM is responsible for determining and maintaining appropriate management levels (AML) for each herd and works to achieve that population target through a variety of management processes, including limiting reproduction in some herds through the use of birth control and gathers that remove excess animals from the range and places them in short or long-term holding pens.
